Enigma giving no one came to clean patient.
Patient laid in wet gown and bed because no one was available to change patient.
I have had the worst experiences at this hospital than I have ever had at any hospital in my life. One bad experience was with the birthing center and i have had 3 kids there. The ER is a nightmare. Period. The doctor's and nurses are mean and nasty. They don't explain what they are doing or how they are doing it. They will leave you for extremely long amounts of time, then you can hear them talking nastily about you and other patients. You could die waiting and they wouldn't care. One time I had a male nurse making jokes about me being pregnant. I walked out that day. Then another time I had a nasty nurse on the night shift put me on an i.v. and leave me. Did not check on me. I used the bathroom on myself because i could not move. Finally a male nurse came in and i told him he said ok he would tell the female nurse. I heard him tell her and she said i told her to push the button ( which she did not) oh well she is just going to have to sit there. She should have said something. And said a few other nasty things. I waited 15 minutes and she finally came to unplug me leaving me a washcloth and towel nothing else and said " why didnt you push the button?" i said i couldnt move she said "you didnt have to move you just had to push the button" how could I when i seriously could not move at all. So I said " You know, I could hear what you said right? You don't have a reason to be mad at me". She said nothing and left I cleaned myself and the bed and she had not left me a gown or anything then she comes back. I said you didn't leave me a gown. She said "you don't need one your going home." The Fastest Discharge In History. So Martinsville ER you better straighten up because I could have been anybody, someone important or anything. God does not like ugly you better start treating your patients better we pay your salaries
Kept in ER over 12 hrs because of lack of staff on floor. Rooms were available.
This hosipat should not be allowed to operated until they can fully function as a hospital.
No one check on patient in ER for long periods at a time
Anyone using this hospital should consider going anywhere else.
Stay away. Worst hospital ever. Seriously. Do yourself a favor and drive the hour out of town.
Room 529 , the staff on all shifts where excellent. Excluding kitchen and housekeeping. I couldn’t ask for better care while my brother was there in his four day stay. Thank you fitfth floor staff. God bless y’all.
Monitor alarms went off no one came to check on them.
I had surgery at Sovah Martinsville last week and it was a great experience from start to finish. Everyone was so compassionate and caring! I was so nervous and they continually kept check on me to make sure I was okay. Dr. Galos did the surgery and he is outstanding! Thanks to everyone at Sovah Martinsville for all that you do for our community every day!
